Baseball Recap: West Allis Hale Victorious

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but West Allis Hale ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Waukesha South Blackshirts. This was payback for the Huskies, who suffered a 6-5 loss the last time these two teams met.

West Allis Hale got a great performance from Coleton Cohen as he didn't allow a single earned run over 4.1 innings pitched.

At the plate, Blake Etzel was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Andrew Hoppe, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
