Soccer Recap: Booker's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Booker walked away with it. They never let the Bayshore Bruins onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tornadoes as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Booker's victory bumped their record up to 3-8-1. As for Bayshore, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10-1.

Booker will challenge Seminole at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Booker's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. Bayshore does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
