It's playoff time, and Pearland had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Fort Bend Travis Tigers with a sharp 22-3 win on Friday. The Oilers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory was the 15th in a row for Pearland, bringing their record up to 26-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.2 runs over those games. As for Fort Bend Travis, they moved to 12-8-1 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Pearland will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
