Spotswood and Broadway are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Trailblazers will challenge the Gobblers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Spotswood has given up an average of 7.2 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Tuesday, Spotswood came up short against East Rockingham and fell 14-11.

Meanwhile, Broadway had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Knights. The Gobblers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by six runs or more this season.

Spotswood's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Broadway, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Spotswood came out on top in a nail-biter against Broadway when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 5-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trailblazers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
