The Walnut Grove Warriors got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Union Grove Wolverines's three. The win was familiar territory for Walnut Grove, who have now won six matches in a row.

Walnut Grove pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those four contests. As for Union Grove, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5.
