Basketball Recap: Gadsden Takes a Loss

Gadsden lost against Organ Mountain back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Gadsden Panthers fell just short of the Organ Mountain Knights by a score of 33-30. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 12-3 in the first quarter.

Gadsden has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Organ Mountain, they moved to 7-14 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Gadsden has already played their next contest (against Las Cruces), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Organ Mountain will be playing in front of their home fans against Alamogordo at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Organ Mountain is facing Alamogordo at the right time seeing as Alamogordo is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
