Baseball Game Preview: Morgan Trojans vs. Union Cougars

For the second straight game, Morgan will face off against Union. The Trojans will head out to take on the Cougars at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Morgan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.1 runs per game this season.

Morgan is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 17 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Union on Tuesday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 15-1. The match marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Morgan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kanyon Leonelli, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Leonelli is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.

Union's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Morgan, they moved to 12-4 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
