Water Canyon came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against El Capitan, but Brayden Hammon wouldn't allow it. The Eagles walked away with a 54-46 win over the Wildcats on Tuesday with plenty of help from Hammon, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. He has been hot, having also posted three or more steals the last five times he's played.

When it comes to explaining why Water Canyon lost, don't look at Dynonte Blackmore. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Greg Hammon was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and ten boards.

El Capitan's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Water Canyon, they dropped their record down to 5-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. El Capitan will head out to challenge Fredonia at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Water Canyon, they will venture away from home to square off against Escalante at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
