Basketball Game Preview: Princeton Panthers vs. Rock Hill Blue Hawks

Princeton is 0-4 against Rock Hill since January of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Princeton Panthers will challenge the Rock Hill Blue Hawks at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Princeton is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They took a blow against Plano East, falling 74-44. While losing is never fun, Princeton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 385th, while Plano East is ranked 25th).

Meanwhile, Rock Hill suffered their biggest loss since February 19, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Allen, falling 75-54. The Blue Hawks have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Rock Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.

Princeton was taken down by Rock Hill 78-40 in their previous meeting back in February of 2022. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Princeton was down 34-13.
