Basketball Recap: Cimarron Takes a Loss

Cimarron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Roy/Mosquero Blue/Lady Blue, falling 54-19. The game marked the Rams' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Cimarron's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Roy/Mosquero, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.

Cimarron will square off against Maxwell at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rams will be up against the Bears' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.17 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Roy/Mosquero does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
