Basketball Recap: Rowland Victorious

Rowland extended their postseason success on Friday against Norwalk. They slipped by the Lancers 45-44. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Raiders have posted since January 9th.

Several Lancers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was David Zazueta, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jesus Sanchez, who put up eight points and five rebounds.

Rowland's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-13. As for Norwalk, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 16-13.

Looking ahead, Rowland will square off against Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least 55 points in their last five games. Norwalk does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
