Baseball Recap: North Florida Christian Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for North Florida Christian's offense. They fell just short of the Maclay Marauders by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Marauders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in March.

Brigs Sparkman was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases.

North Florida Christian's record now sits at 8-11. As for Maclay, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Florida Christian will square off against Leon at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Maclay, they will face off against Jefferson County at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
