Maumee is a perfect 3-0 against Swanton since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Maumee 2, Swanton 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Monday, Maumee didn't have quite enough to beat Oak Harbor and fell 4-3.

Meanwhile, Swanton started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Archbold. They fell just short of the Blue Streaks by a score of 6-5 on Monday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Blue Streaks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Maumee's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Swanton, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-2.

Maumee took their win against Swanton in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 8-2 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
