Volleyball Recap: South Adams Starts Season with Win Against Centerville

South Adams had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Centerville Bulldogs on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Starfires, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

South Adams easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-17.

Centerville's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

South Adams has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Blackford on the 18th. As for Centerville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Richmond on the 16th.
