Gunnison had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out the Steamboat Springs Sailors 4-3 on Friday.

Grady Buckhanan was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Gunnison is undefeated when Buckhanan posts two or more runs, but 0-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Marshall Spann, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

The win got Gunnison back to even at 3-3. As for Steamboat Springs, they moved to 4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Gunnison didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-5 victory against Meeker on the 28th. As for Steamboat Springs, they have also already played their next game, a 13-9 win against Salida on the 28th.
