Basketball Recap: Tahoka Falls Despite Big Games from Brogan Stone and Sacha Loi

Tahoka came up into this matchup off a tough 30-point loss last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the New Deal Lions by a score of 53-51 on Friday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the defeat, Tahoka had strong showings from Sacha Loi, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 boards, and Brogan Stone, who posted 17 points. Loi continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Caleb Watt was another key player, putting up five points and six rebounds.
