Football Preview: West Nassau Warriors vs. Lake Weir Hurricanes        
        
		
             The West Nassau Warriors are taking a road trip to  take on the Lake Weir Hurricanes  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the two teams posted some lofty  point totals in their previous games.
 West Nassau's defense heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They blew past Ridgeview 46-0 at home. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Warriors.
  Avery Griffin was a one-man wrecking crew for West Nassau as he rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 62 receiving yards and a touchdown.  Andi Ataiza was in the mix  as well, providing West Nassau with two  rushing touchdowns touchdowns.
 West Nassau's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of  Fisher Johnson and  Landon Scaff. Scaff didn't just play on offense: he also made six total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging   an  interception.
 Meanwhile, Lake Weir entered their tilt with Saint Francis Catholic last Friday with four consecutive wins  dating back to last season but they'll enter their next game with five. They claimed a resounding  64-0 victory over the Wolves at home.
  Jackson Quick and  Reche Shields were among the main playmakers for Lake Weir as the former rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown and the latter threw for 154 yards and three touchdowns on only five passes. Quick got the majority of those yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible70 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alcarlos Richard, who picked up 66 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 West Nassau now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lake Weir, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season.
