Volleyball Recap: Denison Takes a Loss

Denison lost against Sherman back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Yellow Jackets fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 3-2. While the Yellow Jackets didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bearcats 25-14 in the first set.

Denison actually scored more points across those five sets (101-94), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 14-25, 25-18, 25-20, 15-25, 15-13.

Denison dropped their record down to 14-24 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Sherman, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 19-19.

As of now, neither Denison nor the Bearcats have any future games scheduled.
