Volleyball Recap: Calhoun Academy Takes a Loss

Calhoun Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Patrick Henry Academy Patriots, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-7, 25-11.

Calhoun Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Patrick Henry Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calhoun Academy will challenge Thomas Sumter Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Patrick Henry Academy, they will take on Colleton Prep Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
