Softball Recap: Dakota Valley Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Dell Rapids

Dakota Valley faced Dell Rapids in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Panthers lost 8-0 to the Quarriers. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Dakota Valley's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-8. As for Dell Rapids, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Dakota Valley has already played their next game, an 8-0 defeat against St. Mary on the 7th. Dell Rapids does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
