Softball Game Preview: David Anderson Blue Devils vs. East Canton Hornets

The David Anderson Blue Devils will head out on the road to square off against the East Canton Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. David Anderson has given up an average of 11.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

David Anderson came up short against United on Monday, falling 16-3. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Golden Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, East Canton fell victim to Sandy Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Cardinals.

East Canton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for David Anderson, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Everything went David Anderson's way against East Canton in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, as David Anderson made off with a 12-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
