Softball Recap: Bradley Central Takes a Loss

Bradley Central managed to slip by Ooltewah the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bears lost 9-3 to the Owls on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bears have suffered since March 27, 2024.

Tori Cagle made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Karly Farkas, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Bradley Central dropped their record down to 10-13-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Ooltewah, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-4.

Looking ahead, Bradley Central will square off against Whitwell at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ooltewah, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-4 win against Polk County on the 10th.
