Torres is 6-0 against Sanger West since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Torres Toros will head out to challenge the Sanger West Hornets at 6:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Torres lost 69-49 to Justin Garza on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Toros can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 913th, while the Guardians are ranked 337th).

Meanwhile, Sanger West didn't have quite enough to beat Madera on Friday and fell 65-63.

Torres' loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Sanger West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.

Torres strolled past Sanger West in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 57-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Torres since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
