Soccer Recap: Woodmont Comes Up Short

Woodmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Easley Green Wave. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Green Wave apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Woodmont now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Easley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodmont will challenge J.L. Mann at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Easley, they will square off against Greenville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
