Softball Recap: Franklin Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Franklin made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Rockdale, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lions never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Lions have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Franklin pushed their record up to 22-3-2 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Rockdale, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13-1.

Looking ahead, Franklin will square off against Bullard at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Rockdale, they will challenge Thrall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
