Sydni Boudreaux was another key player,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with one  triple and one  double.
Hackberry's win  ended  a  five-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 5-6. As for Singer,  they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-10.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hackberry will venture away from home to  face off against Starks  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Singer, they will head out to  square off against South Cameron  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. South Cameron has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.27  runs per game on average), something Singer will no doubt try to take advantage of.
