Soccer Game Preview: North Mesquite vs. Adams

The North Mesquite Stallions will face off against the Adams Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Adams will be up against a hot North Mesquite squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. The Stallions blew past Samuell 8-1 on Monday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering North Mesquite's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 48th, while Samuell are ranked 583rd).

Meanwhile, Adams kept a clean sheet against West Mesquite two weeks ago. They put the hurt on the Wranglers with a sharp 3-0 win. Adams better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Michael Moya, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Adams' victory bumped their record up to 7-2-1. As for North Mesquite, their win bumped their record up to 9-1-1.

North Mesquite beat Adams by a goal in their previous meeting back in February of 2025, winning 2-1. Will the Stallions repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
