Volleyball Recap: MICDS Takes a Loss

MICDS lost against Parkway West back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rams fell 3-1 to the Longhorns.

MICDS started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-12, 25-18, 25-17.

MICDS now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Parkway West, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-1 record this season.

MICDS didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against East Peoria on the 20th. As for Parkway West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Howell on the 19th.
