Football Recap: San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Comes Up Short

San Luis Obispo Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cuyama Valley Bears. Even if the Grizzlies couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

San Luis Obispo Classical Academy's record now sits at 0-5. As for Cuyama Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Luis Obispo Classical Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Coastal Christian at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Cuyama Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Coast Union at 6:00 p.m. on the 11th.
