Baseball Recap: Red Boiling Springs Comes Up Short

Red Boiling Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mount Juliet Christian Academy Saints. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on March 6th.

Red Boiling Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Mount Juliet Christian Academy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4.

Coming up, Red Boiling Springs will welcome Monroe County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mount Juliet Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Ezell-Harding Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Ezell-Harding Christian will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Mount Juliet Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
