Basketball Recap: Mcdonogh Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

McDonogh waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They secured a 60-55 W over the John Carroll Patriots. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

McDonogh's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carlos Ferguson led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Ferguson a new career-high in assists (four). Bj Hopkins was another key player, going 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points.

McDonogh is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for John Carroll, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9.
