Softball Recap: Baylor Takes a Loss

Baylor lost against William Blount back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Red Raiders fell just short of the Governors by a score of 2-1. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Baylor's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for William Blount, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Coming up, Baylor will face off against Girls Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bruisers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Red Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for William Blount, they have already played their next game, a 9-1 defeat against Cookeville on the 12th.
