Volleyball Recap: DeKalb Barbs vs. St. Charles North North Stars
DeKalb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Charles North North Stars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Barbs of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-16.
DeKalb now has a losing record at 8-9. As for St. Charles North, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 20-3.
DeKalb didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lake Forest on the 28th. St. Charles North has also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against St. Charles East on the 1st.
