Atascocita is a perfect 7-0 against Channelview since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when Atascocita Eagles face off against Channelview Falcons at 5:00 p.m. Atascocita's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Channelview's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Atascocita will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Friday, then bounced right back against North Shore on Tuesday. Atascocita was the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over North Shore. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Kaitlyn Miller was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Rhilynn McCoy, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Miller wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Atascocita lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Channelview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 14-1 to Goose Creek Memorial. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Atascocita pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.8 runs. As for Channelview, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Atascocita was able to grind out a solid win over Channelview in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, winning 5-2. Will Atascocita repeat their success, or does Channelview have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
