Baseball Recap: United Takes a Loss

United was the 6-1 winner over Conemaugh Valley when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell 5-2 to the Blue Jays on Wednesday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ryan Felix was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

United's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Conemaugh Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. United is set to take on their familiar foe Purchase Line at 11:15 a.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Conemaugh Valley will face off against rival Northern Cambria at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
