Basketball Game Preview: Hillsborough Terriers vs. East Bay Indians

The Hillsborough Terriers will challenge the East Bay Indians on Monday. Hillsborough has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 13.

Hillsborough is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell just short of Brandon by a score of 77-74 on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (73), the Terriers still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, East Bay suffered their closest loss since December 23, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of Gaither by a score of 55-52. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Cowboys recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Hillsborough's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for East Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.

Hillsborough came up short against East Bay in their previous meeting back in January of 2021, falling 45-41. Can Hillsborough avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
