Baseball Recap: Sheboygan Falls Comes Up Short

Sheboygan Falls had lost 12 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 0-5 to make it 13. They lost 13-2 to the Chilton Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 on Tuesday.

Sheboygan Falls saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elliott Ries, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that Ries has hit this season.

As for Chilton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

On Chilton's side, Ethan Schneider was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Peyton Juckem was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Looking ahead, Sheboygan Falls will take on North Fond du Lac at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chilton, they will challenge Oconto at 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
