Basketball Recap: Crane Takes a Loss

Crane suffered their biggest defeat since December 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Greenwood Blue Jays 74-43. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 100-81 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2021.

Crane's defeat dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Greenwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Looking ahead, Crane is taking a road trip to face off against Spokane at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenwood, they will host Logan-Rogersville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
