Tunstall lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Halifax County, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's contest. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over the Comets on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Tunstall, bringing their record up to 8-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Halifax County, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.

Coming up, Tunstall will square off against Randolph-Henry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Halifax County, they will challenge Bassett at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Comets are facing the Bengals at the right time seeing as the Bengals are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
