Baseball Recap: Olmsted Falls Comes Up Short at Home Against Firelands

Olmsted Falls unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Firelands Falcons by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday.

Olmsted Falls got a good showing from Liam Murray, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Olmsted Falls will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Ridgeville at 4:45 p.m. on March 31st. As for Firelands, they will welcome Strongsville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
