Pee Dee Academy lost against King's Academy last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Golden Eagles might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Lions an easy 41-16 win. The contest marked the Golden Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Pee Dee Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for King's Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Pee Dee Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lee Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for King's Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Thomas Sumter Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
