Basketball Recap: Indian Lake Central Comes Up Short

After soaring to 57 points the game before, Indian Lake Central was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They were dealt an 85-26 defeat at the hands of the Bolton Central Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 837th, while the Eagles are ranked 209th).

Leading Bolton Central to victory were Jaxon Egloff and Liam Foy. Egloff posted 17 points, while Foy had 18 points. Jace Hubert was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Indian Lake Central's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Bolton Central, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Wells the next time they take the court. Bolton Central will head out to face Wells at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Indian Lake Central will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on February 5th.
