Volleyball Recap: St. Vincent-St. Mary Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Vincent-St. Mary can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Archbishop McNicholas Rockets on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Fighting Irish have suffered since April 17th.

St. Vincent-St. Mary's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Archbishop McNicholas, the win (which was their 20th in a row) raised their record to 24-1.

St. Vincent-St. Mary does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Archbishop McNicholas, they will square off against Mt. Vernon at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Yellowjackets will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight.
