Football Game Preview: Millburn Millers vs. Bergenfield Bears

The Millburn Millers will challenge the Bergenfield Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Millburn's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Bergenfield has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

On Friday, Millburn lost to Nutley on the road by a 36-20 margin.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Bergenfield and River Dell have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Bears had to suffer through a 48-7 loss at the hands of the Golden Hawks. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Millburn will have to contain Jordan Correa as he made an impact in Bergenfield's last game. He rushed for 81 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries.

Millburn's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Bergenfield, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Millburn couldn't quite finish off Bergenfield when the teams last played back in October of 2024 and fell 29-26.
