Softball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 39-0 to the Yamhill-Carlton Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 29-2 back in April.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Yamhill-Carlton, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-7.

Jefferson has already played their next game, a 25-0 defeat against Scio on the 14th. As for Yamhill-Carlton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-0 win against Amity on the 14th.
