Basketball Recap: Temple Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against North Haven last Friday, Temple Academy came back down to earth. The Temple Academy Bereans took a 46-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Forest Hills Tigers on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Bereans in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Temple Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Forest Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Temple Academy will welcome Wiscasset at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Forest Hills, they will take on Islesboro Central at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
