Volleyball Recap: Venice Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Venice couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 3-1 to the Francis Parker Lancers on Tuesday. The Gondoliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Francis Parker found their leader in sophomore Ethan Brigger, who had 13 digs.

Venice's loss dropped their record down to 36-7. As for Francis Parker, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-12.

Venice does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Francis Parker, they will challenge Canyon Crest Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
