Baseball Recap: Weleetka Comes Up Short

Weleetka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-2 to the Mill Creek Bullfrogs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Weleetka's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mill Creek, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Weleetka and Mill Creek will both be playing Asher the next time they take the field. Mill Creek will host Asher at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while Weleetka will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
