Soccer Recap: Midlothian's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Wednesday

Midlothian and White squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Midlothian had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Longhorns by a score of 2-1. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Midlothian couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Ayden Hildreth, who's now up to 18 this season.

Midlothian moved to 15-5-3 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak. As for White, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-0-3 record this season.
