Basketball Game Preview: Glades Central Raiders vs. Leonard Lancers

Glades Central is on a three-game streak of home losses, Leonard a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Glades Central Raiders will host the Leonard Lancers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Glades Central came up short against Royal Palm Beach and fell 43-31.

Meanwhile, Leonard played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 57-17 loss at the hands of Dr. Joaquin Garcia. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 627th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 305th).

Glades Central will need focus on slowing down Bradline Eriscar, one of several Leonard players who made an impact when they last played. She posted eight points.

Leonard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Glades Central, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
